Terms of Service

Last updated July 2026

This is not a crisis service

Rant to Me connects you with volunteer listeners, not trained counsellors or emergency responders. If you are in immediate danger or having thoughts of suicide, please call 911 or the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988 (US & Canada), or find your local line at findahelpline.com. The Crisis support button in the app links directly to these resources.

Listener conduct

Volunteer listeners agree to listen without judgment, keep calls confidential, and not pursue contact with callers outside the platform. Any listener can be reported using the flag button during a call, and repeated violations result in removal. Listeners are volunteers, not vetted professionals — treat a call like a conversation with a stranger and share only what you’re comfortable sharing.

Acceptable use

You may not use the platform to harass, threaten, or share content that sexualises minors. You may not record calls without consent. The shared feed is for personal expression only — no spam, no commercial content, no doxxing.

Reporting a problem

Use the flag button during a call or post to report a concern. For urgent safety issues contact us directly at koreyydaviss@gmail.com. We review all reports and respond within 48 hours for safety-related issues.

Limitation of liability

Rant to Me is provided as-is. We are not liable for the content of conversations between users, or for outcomes arising from use of the platform. By using the service you accept that it is a peer support tool, not a medical or mental health service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be announced in-app.
